Early Lines Brothers Rocking Horse

Circa 1870'S

This finely shaped rocking horse is a beautiful example of early Lines Brothers craftmenship. The horse came to us without a stand. We have furnished it with one of our specially crafted and cross jointed stands. Carved in the base are our initials R.H.W. This horse has been authentically and delicately painted, the bridle is new but the saddle remains in its original condition, the pommel holes still visible as seen in the photographs. The horse has the typical deep Lines fetlock. The tawny coloured flowing real horse hair adds to the overall charisma of this very pretty horse.
